When my project expires can I request an extension?
Answer:
Yes, upon submitting an extension form you may have a one-year extension. Pls should contact our S2C2 User Administrator, Lisa Dunn, at lisa@slac.stanford.edu for further information and guidance.

Yes, we can send that to you. Contact your Scientific Point of Contact to request this file.

Yes, we have added this format for efficient file storage with preservation of spatial and temporal resolution.

Thick ice and particle distribution may affect the CTF value.

Can you recover and return my grids with the shipping dewar?

Can you store my unused grids for a later microscope session?
Answer:
Yes, we have dewar storage space dedicated to user cryo-specimens. Please, ask your Scientific Point of Contact to do so.

Can EPU collect data on lacey grids?
Answer:
Yes, data can be collected from lacey carbon grids using EPU.

How many images can we expect per hour - and therefore, per two-day microscope session?
Answer:
This depends on your data acquisition magnification, foil hole size, sample, and whether stage tilt or beam shift is used in data collection.
